Assist with food preparation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Set-up and supply serving line and concessions with food products according to the prep list.
To follow the established recipes while preparing all menu items.
Provide customers high quality products prepared in a professional and timely manner.
Check par levels on all products each day.
With direction from the Executive Chef or shift supervisor set-up for banquet and daily preparation.
Notify Executive Chef or shift supervisor of any items that are low or out of stock.
Ensure that proper sanitation procedures are followed at all time.
At the end of your shift make sure all food is stored correct and in accordance with the kitchen guidelines.
Complete all cleaning procedures prior to leaving.
Ensure proper rotation of all products for freshness.
Responsible for a clean and organized work area.
Expected to assist in all areas of Concessions Department when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience in the food and beverage industry.
Must be able to attain MRC certification.
Ability to follow direction
Good verbal communication skills
The ability to self motivate

Flexibility of schedule is required. Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays during the live racing season (May-September).
This position requires frequent standing and walking.
Must be able to lift 30-35 lbs.
Requires frequent wrist and hand use.
Must be available for all shifts
